Chopard gents’ gathering in Kuwait celebrates
the Maison’s fine watchmaking legacy
The Maison Chopard welcomed watch aficionados and collectors at La Hoja Lounge Café in Kuwait for a special gents evening honoring the ultimate craftsmanship and savoir-faire of the Swiss Maison.
A tribute to fine watchmaking
Displaying exceptional models of the L.U.C collection, which have made their mark through the years, the event was a tribute to Maison’s expertise in creating distinctive unique timepieces mingling art and time. The event celebrated the journey of excellence through the origins of Chopard fine watchmaking creations, capturing the charismatic personality and modern spirit of gentlemen who enjoy living with distinction. During the evening, guests appreciated various watchmaking activities arranged a Chopard’s Geneva-based watchmaker showing the strong mechanical reasoning skill needed to create a watch movement, place a myriad of gears and a mainspring in their proper positions, as well as manipulating dozens of extremely small components with jewel-like precision. Watches on display included the L.U.C quattro, L.U.C. XP Skeletec, L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon along with some other models such as the L.U.C Perpetual T, L.U.C Heritage Grand Cru, L.U.C XP and L.U.C Regulator as well as the unique L.U.C Louis-Ulysse – The Tribute that is an appealing culmination of a collaboration between the Geneva Watchmaking School and Chopard Manufacture.
An independent and vertically integrated Maison
Chopard is a family-owned company with a resolute emphasis on optimally integrated production. The stages involved in crafting L.U.C watches are all performed in Chopard’s various production sites in Geneva and Fleurier. Movement decoration, product design, gold smelting, stamping and machining of cases, movement components and bracelets, as well as traditional hand-crafted decoration, surface treatment, gemsetting, polishing, assembly, adjustment and quality control, are all mastered by Chopard in-house and play a role in the making of each L.U.C watch.
